I never liked his "Deep Work" book. But this one was real good!

And I love your illustrations 😁

It’s been years since I read deep work (funnily enough, I think I’ve reread digital minimalism but I don’t think I’ve reread deep work). Do you know what you didn’t like about it? Thanks for the compliment too!

For Deep Work he mostly repeated himself. And it got real boring in the end. In this new book he really gave tips on how to do the stuff he writing about. A total 180.

I did really appreciate his practical points in this one and the nuance/awareness of different jobs and their requirements.

Thank you for this summary, it was exactly what I was looking for during the last days, feeling swamped with tasks and responsibilities 😅

Loved the comment “Your mantra should be “Progress over perfect”.

Seems to sum up Cal’s understanding of personal development!

Thank you and well done with this summary.

Love your writing and illustrations. You trimmed the book to its core ideas. Thanks.

Read the book last month and actually put it down after some chapters as I felt the chapters were repetitive. The ideas were valuable and flow well with those in Deep Work, but he spent most sections 'providing evidence' and examples.
