Sketchy Ideas #4 - Employee resignation & three levels of text
Hi, Again! I'm Chris and each week I send two interesting sketchnotes I’ve found online. If you love that idea or hate it, there are links at the bottom for you to subscribe or unsubscribe. (I hope you'll stick around).
This week I revived my idea of "Black Ink Friday" and if you check out my entry, you'll get a preview of next week's stolen style. Anyway, on to this week's sketchnotes.
Content: Employee retention
Have you heard about the great resignation? It's the trend of high levels of people quitting their jobs at the moment. I’ve been thinking about it a bit so this quick sketchnote from scriberia resonated with me. I love their style too.
I have no real idea what these numbers are for my work, but I think I could take some educated guesses and that might be revealing.
Style: Headings & Subheadings
I love the way Nicole creates this hierarchy of headers with both style and colour. The bolder text and bubbles certainly help, but the aspect I love is the blue shadow under the main heading.
Let's steal it!
I suspect Nicole used procreate and it’s very easy to emulate here. A key point is insuring you have three different size and heaviness of text for heading, subheading and paragraph.
Using a second layer underneath for the highlight font and the bubbles to help the text stand out further.
See you next time
Thanks for stopping by again. I'd love to know if the style rip off was about the right level or too obvious and easy. It helps me know what sort of things I should share in the future.
Thanks,
Chris
