Nice reminders about time! I like the visual "Don't forget how far you have come".
Also I have never heard of slowing time down by using more anchors. Will certainly be trying that out when I feel like the world is spinning too fast :)
I love these! Especially the one about the idea that we don't need time, we need more focus! My newsletter this week is on this very topic and I think most of us don't realise how much of our attention we're spending on distractions away from our goals, rather than on traction towards our goals.
Couple of thoughts. I wonder about time all the … time.
What if the way we perceive it actually does change how it moves around us. We see ourselves moving through time but if you think about it. The now never exists except as a theory of one over infinity - the future and past are separated by a mere instant. You can always divide a second in half over and over without it quite hitting zero, and you can do that in the future and past.
So .now. Does exist, but it’s so fast we can’t process it. Future almost sublimates into the past.
The other weird one which is def a me thing is occasionally, very occasionally, I feel almost as if I am motionless and I can sense time moving around me.
And here’s the really curious thing: when that happens something significant happens at that moment either which moves what I do on another stage further - that which God is calling me to and needs a shove to make it happen. Or, even more rarely, something international.
So much si that when I experience these weird moments of super clarity, I start praying!
Don't forget how far you have come. It is so true.
Yeah, it's so easy to focus on the one bad day rather than 364 good ones!

Cool article, proof that time is relative, isn't it? ✨
Don’t Forget How Far You’ve Come is my favorite.
You're definitely not alone on that one!

These are really good.
